Permit Info

To get your permit bring the following to the DMV – (YOU MUST MAKE AN APPOINTMENT WITH THE DMV - CLICK HERE FOR THE LINK)

Birth certificate (original) MUST BE 14 ½ TO TAKE THE CLASS OR GET YOUR PERMIT
Photo ID (school ID works)
$26.50
SSN (bring the card)
Proof of Physical Address (not P.O. box) OR sign affidavit at the DMV
Public School Students - please bring a Verification of Compliance (VOC) - get this in the office at school to prove you are enrolled in school BEFORE SCHOOL IS OUT FOR THE SUMMER ****** YOU CAN’T GET YOUR PERMIT WITHOUT GETTING THIS FROM THE SCHOOL
If you homeschool, please bring proof of curriculum or a report card
